Bara hästmänniskor förstår

Yes I did. When hurricane Nicole snuck up on us, I made sure ALL my creatures were in my safe home with me. I don’t have a barn built yet, only temporary horse shelters & Nicole was predicted to make a direct hit to my area; I needed to make sure my horses were as safe as me, so they weathered the storm in the living room. The only complication was acting as chaperone for a stallion and a mare all night long! Grateful for a good roof and hurricane windows and doors! My “post-hurricane clean-up” may have been a little unique! 🤣🤣 No damage to the house: lots of bedding for the horses …

For non-horse people, those are portable corral panels that I brought inside.

On Sunday November 13, 2022 I’ll post a short video on my YouTubechannel Routscout on safety issues to consider before bringing your horses inside. Please subscribe if you would like to see that.
